These geogrids show how your business ranks in local search results across either a 7×7 mile grid (49 square miles), a 9×9 mile grid (81 square miles) or in a few cases a 13×13 mile grid (169 square miles) surrounding your location. Each point on the map represents search visibility from that spot, and the SoLV (Share of Local Voice) is the key metric – it tells you the percentage of searches where your business appears in the top 3 map pack results across the grid. It’s the most important metric because showing up in the top 3 is what drives the majority of calls, clicks, and new customers.
